About John
John Domino brings 35 years of executive and general management experience to his position as President of JTD Retail strategies, LLC. JTD Retail Strategies provides business strategy, real estate, store development, and acquisition/disposition services to supermarket operators, real estate developers, food industry investors and suppliers across North America. John is a real estate consultant for Gordon Brothers and a member of the board of directors for Climate Pros Inc, a national private-equity owned refrigeration services company. John has also provided executive project leadership to real estate developers on a million square foot multi-use development in New Orleans and on 4 shopping mall projects in Ghana, West Africa.
John spent 16 years as Vice President of Real Estate and Store Development for SUPERVALU, where he managed the corporate capital budget and led efforts to grow and remodel the company’s corporate store divisions, while also advising independent grocery store operators on the development and implementation plans for their stores. John led SUPERVALU’s Sustainability program and was the Managing Director of the company’s Design Services Group and Payson Store Fixtures profit-center divisions.
John is the past Chairman of the Food Marketing Institute’s (FMI) Retail Store Development Committee. He also serves on the non-profit board of directors for the Sophia Snow House in Boston. He has an MBA from Harvard University and BS and MEng degrees from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
